OneLogin integration

What is OneLogin?

OneLogin is a cloud-based identity and access management service that provides users with secure access solutions for their applications and other resources. It offers features such as Single Sign-On (SSO), multi-factor authentication and user provisioning.

In Buddy, it allows team managers to synchronize SSO groups in the service.

Generating API credentials in OneLogin

  1. Log in to OneLogin and go to Developers → API Credentials:

  1. Create a new credential with these settings:

    • name: e.g. buddy
    • access scope: Read all

  1. Save changes and copy the Client ID and Secret:

Configuring integration in Buddy

  1. Sign in to your Buddy account and go to Integrations.
  2. Click New integration and select OneLogin (you can find it in the Others section):

  1. Define the integration details:

    • enter the name
    • paste the company subdomain, e.g. my-company.onelogin.com (you can copy it from the address bar in your browser)
    • paste the copied Client ID and Secret

Hint
You can adjust the privacy settings of your integration (i.e. who can use it and where) in the Sharing tab.
  1. Save changes to finish configuration.
