How to buy a domain?

1. Enter the Domains tab

Navigate to Domains from the left sidebar menu.

2. Buy new domain

Click Add domain and select Buy new... from the dropdown menu.

3. Enter the domain name

Enter the name of the domain you wish to register. You can choose from over 800 available TLDs.

4. Purchase summary

In the next step, you will see an order summary. You can select the Auto-renew option to automatically extend the validity of the domain.

If you want to receive an invoice, check the This is a business purchase checkbox.

5. Registering your domain

After completing the purchase, the domain will appear on the list with the label REGISTERING.... This means that the registration process is in progress.

Hint

You can later change the Auto-renew and Transfer lock options in the Domains tab.

After the process is complete, the status will change to something like EXPIRES IN 360 DAYS, which means the domain has been activated.

Hint

Domains purchased in Buddy can also be used in the Tunnels tab – this allows for quickly exposing test or staging environments using your own domain address.
