SSL Checker - Features, integrations, alternatives & more
What it does
SSL certificates provide authentication to your website and make sure the data of its visitors is safe and secure. The action lets you check the validity of the certificate on the selected website. It is most commonly used in a recurrent pipeline followed by a conditional notification that will keep you updated in case the certificate is going to expire.
How it works
The action monitors the website URL you provided within the action and checks if the certificate is still valid. You can also set the validation period to the next 7 days, 14 days, or 1 month. If the actual validation period is shorter than the given range, the action will finish as failed.
SSL Checker Features
- Input fields: Website URL supports Environment variables
- The action can be configured in YAML mode. See SSL Checker YAML parameters and SSL Checker YAML config example
- Buddy's SSL Checker API is supported
- The action supports conditional execution: it can be run on each execution, only if there are changes in the repository or specific paths since last execution or if an environment variable has a specific value
