If you’re collaborating on your projects with other developers, it’s sometimes hard to identify who and when modified a particular piece of code (especially if it’s causing the whole app to crash). Buddy employs the blame tool to solve this issue:
- Browse Code in your repository and click the file you want to examine.
- Find the line in the code editor.
- Click Blame in the right column to display who and when introduced the changes.
Clicking the name and date on the blame tool will redirect you to the commit with the changes for further inspection. You can also leave a commit message to notify your team of the faulty line.
