Important notice about Shopify integrations

Starting October 19, 2023, Shopify announced the revocation of the API tokens created by the Shopify OAuth application. As we were informed, apps designed for and marketed to developers are not allowed and will not pass the review process.

If you still integrate with Shopify via OAuth, make sure to change the authorization method from OAuth to access token or your Shopify integrations will soon stop working (see below).
All users using OAuth for Shopify have been mailed a list of integrations that require the update.

How to update Shopify integration to personal token

  1. Sign in to your Buddy account and go to the Integrations tab.
  2. Look up your OAuth Shopify integration.
  3. Switch the authorization method to Access Token.
  4. Generate the token and paste it together with the URL to your online store.
  5. Repeat for each integration.

With these changes in place you can be sure that your Shopify stores are updated without any disruptions.
