Feature update: Search & navigation bar

After a brief period of hiatus, the search bar returns to Buddy with expanded functionalities and a quick-jump feature allowing you to quickly navigate to recently visited places.

Global view

Depending on the current view, the search works for different scopes of assets in the workspace. The global view lets you look up:

  • users
  • groups
  • projects

Projects view

The project view expands the search results to more items:

  • pipelines
  • sandboxes (if active)
  • commits
  • files in the repository

Recently visited

Clicking the search bar (or pressing CMD/CTRL+K) will also expand the list of recently visited places in the workspace, a useful feature helping you keep the number of opened browser tabs within limits:
