Update to Discord action (Old actions deprecating on November 12)
Last month our notification actions – Discord, Slack, Telegram and email – were upgraded with support for file attachments. However, in case of Discord, adding this feature required us to rewrite the whole action from scratch. The changes also cover defining the action with YAML and the API.
Deprecating old Discord action
For the time being, all Discord actions added before the update (August 20, 2019) are going to work according to the old rules. However, with November 12 they will no longer be supported.
This means that:
- All Discord actions defined with the GUI will be transparently migrated to the new version.
- Actions defined with YAML or the API (i.e. using the old syntax) will have to be manually updated or will stop working.
