New in Sandboxes: Seed databases

UPDATE: December 2018 After one year of testing, we have decided to shut down the beta of Sandboxes. Using the feedback that we gathered, we are currently working on a new and improved version of the test environment feature. Make sure to follow us on Twitter for news and updates on the release date.

Now it's possible to populate SQL services with data from an SQL dump. This new feature is enabled for MySQL, MariaDB & Postgres.

How to automatically populate sandbox’s databases with data

There are several services that you can attach to a sandbox to build a complete stack for your application that Buddy will replicate for every branch: Mongo, MySQL, MariaDB, Postgres, Redis, Memcache, Elastic.

Now it’s also possible to populate SQL services with data from an SQL dump. This new feature is enabled for MySQL, MariaDB & Postgres.
