Buddy Drop Launch Contest: Official Rules

1. Organizer

The contest is run by BDY PSA, a company incorporated and registered in Poland whose registered office is at Twarda 18, 00-105, Warszawa (the Organizer). Contact: support@buddy.works.

The contest is not run, sponsored or endorsed by X Corp.

2. Who can enter

Anyone aged 18 or older (or the age of majority where they live, if higher), from any country except those under EU, UN or US sanctions.

Entry is free. You need a free Buddy account and an X account.

Organizer employees and judges, and their families, cannot win prizes.

3. How to enter

Put a project online with Buddy Drop and claim it with your Buddy account.

Click Share on X and publish the reply to our announcement post at x.com/useBuddy/status/2105549603244290208 by October 8, 2026, 23:59 UTC. That reply is your entry.

One entry per person or team. Using multiple X accounts to submit additional entries may result in disqualification.

By entering, you confirm that you have all rights and permissions necessary for the project and its content, including any images, fonts, audio, trademarks and other third-party materials it contains.

Entries must comply with the Buddy Terms of Service. The project must not contain unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, violent, discriminatory, defamatory or otherwise offensive content, or content that infringes the rights of others. The Organizer may disqualify an entry that is inaccessible, does not function as submitted, infringes third-party rights, or otherwise violates these Rules.

4. Winners

Community Pick: the entry reply with the most likes on X at the deadline. Ties go to the entry with more reposts, then to the earlier entry.

Team Pick: the entry our team rates highest on creativity, usefulness and design.

One entry can win both. Winners are not drawn at random.

Fake accounts, bots and bought or coordinated likes are not allowed. We disregard such likes and may disqualify entries that break these Rules.

Winners are announced on X by @useBuddy and emailed by October 15, 2026.

5. Prizes

Two prizes of $500 each in Buddy.Works credits, added to the winner's Buddy account.

Credits can be used for any Buddy service, cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash, and do not expire.

To claim a prize, reply to our email by October 22, 2026 with your full name, address and country of tax residence. We need this only to settle tax under section 6. Without it by the deadline, the prize goes to the next eligible entry.

6. Taxes

The Organizer pays any income tax due on the prizes under Polish law. Winners receive the full $500 in credits and do not need to pay or file anything in Poland.

Winners are responsible for any taxes or reporting required in their own country of residence.

A winner may send a certificate of tax residence issued by their country's tax authority. This is optional and only affects how the Organizer settles Polish tax.

7. Your project and data

You keep ownership of your project. By entering, you grant the Organizer a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, reproduce and share the project's name, URL, screenshots, recordings and other visual representations of the project, together with your X name, for the purpose of administering and promoting the contest and Buddy Drop.

We process your data as described in our Privacy Policy. Entering does not require consent to marketing.

8. Changes, complaints and law

We will not change the rules to your disadvantage after entries open, unless required by law or a serious technical problem. We may cancel the contest if it cannot run fairly, and will announce this on X.

These Rules are governed by Polish law, without limiting consumer rights you have where you live. The English version prevails.
