How to edit code directly in Buddy?
Sometimes you must introduce a last-minute change in code just before the execution. With Buddy you can do that quickly using the code editor. Here’s how:
- Browse Code in your repository and click file that you want to edit or use search to look it up manually
- Type in the changes. The Commit box will appear at the bottom. You can switch to full-screen mode with the icon in top-right corner.
- Edit description and hit Commit to immediately push the changes to the repo
The code editor is cloud-based which means you don’t have to have a working copy on your disk to work on files. This is especially convenient for non-tech people, like copywriters or marketers.
