Solving problems

Reporting feedback

In order to indicate and debug errors with your Buddy Enterprise installation we may require activity logs from your machine or, if the problem requires deeper investigation, direct access to your machine (we'll let you know how to do that).

Sending logs from GUI

By default the logs are attached to the message that you sent through the contact form. You can find the contact link in workspace PreferencesAbout Buddy Enterprise. Just describe the error and click Send.

Sending logs from CLI

The logs will also be attached to the message sent from the command line:

  1. Log in to the machine where Buddy Enterprise is installed.
  2. Enter

  3. Provide the description of error, your name and email address to which we'll respond

Website not refreshing automatically in Safari browser

If your Safari browser is not getting updated on-the-fly with the latest changes to Buddy Enterprise, you can do the following:

  1. Go to your workspace URL and click Show certificate on the identity warning.

  2. Check Always trust by the certificate and click Continue.

If you cannot see the SSL padlock by the URL, you need to shut down and open your browser back again.
