New feature: Sentry integration

We're happy to announce that Buddy officially supports Sentry bug tracking and reports!

Sentry helps developers identify and debug errors before they make it to production. With a detailed insight into the error you can quickly decide whether to apply a hotfix or roll back changes. The tool lets you apply filters to stack traces to reduce noise and reproduce errors without user feedback with each bug's history of events and users actions—a perfect complement to Buddy's delivery pipelines.

Example use-case

Here's an example of a pipeline with Sentry monitoring applied. As you can see, the pipeline builds, tests and delivers a Node.js app to the server. After every deployment, Buddy informs Sentry of the new release:

Integrating Buddy with Sentry

Simply create or edit a delivery line, scroll down to the notifications section and click the corresponding Sentry icon:

Authenticate in your Sentry account and configure the details: account, organization and target project. You can also use Buddy parameters to describe the release version and deployment environment:
