Buddy 2.0: Say hello to new integrations! 🔥
As the next part of the ongoing transition to Buddy 2.0, this week we released a completely revamped integrations view. Here's what's been changed:
- New view of integration list with categories and more details
- New view of adding and editing integrations
- New permissions in integrations (Admin in project and Group in project)
Below we break down each point into details.
Existing integrations are now displayed as a list with access scopes and sharing settings:
You can check where an integration is used by clicking the Usage tab in its details. Here you can see that the integration is used in two more workspaces. Below are listed pipelines and actions using the integration in the current workspace:
At the moment, Buddy integrates with 29 third-party services:
Searching, adding, and managing integrations is now much easier thanks to categories and the search tool. For example, when adding a new integration you can narrow the type of services you are looking for to Platform-as-a-Service:
Clicking a service launches a new page where you can see which actions will become available for your pipelines upon configuration:
The bottom part of the screen provides some useful info on how the selected 3rd-party service works within Buddy's infrastructure:
Once you authorize Buddy into your service, you will be able to configure the details such as authorization mode or scope of access. This view has also been improved for better usability. For example, sensitive data is easier to identify, and we have added some useful links at the bottom that will help you get started and solve possible issues with the associated actions:
Last but not least, webhooks have been moved from the workspace settings to the integrations tab. You can find them in the Others section.
